Texas border situation update | According to the Dems

MSN reported in an article, which you can find here, the current situation at Texas’ southern border as of February 3, 2024. Reading over the headlines, it was apparent that MSN was attempting to make Gov Abbot viewed as some form of tyrant. Utilizing his constitutional ability and obligation to defend his state’s borders from the incessant waves of illegal immigrants.

The report featured titles such as “Texas governor defies feds’ effort at the border” and “Clash raises legal, constitutional questions”. Someone with a room temperature IQ could easily poke holes in the bucket MSN is trying to create to hold as much water for the Biden administration. Some of the more fundamental talking points were true yet terrible misleading.

One such point was that immigration enforcement is typically a federal responsibility. MSN is absolutely right. However, what the federal government doesn’t usually do is physically tear down border fences and barricades to allow the mass illegal immigration of hundreds of thousands of people. MSN swiftly attempted to act as though efforts being made by personnel putting up razor wire and barricades at the border were doing it for no good reason apart from being evil republicans with this line: “Border Patrol had previously been using the park as an area to process migrants crossing the border via the Rio Grande. With the seizure, the park was closed off to federal agents as well, despite pleas from the federal government to enter.”.

Yet, MSN had clearly pointed out that obstacles and barricades do indeed work. They also pointed out that Abbots efforts at the border are “an unraveling of a long-held cooperation between state’s law enforcement and Border Patrol officials.” What’s more is, MSN fails to mention the Biden administration’s blatant efforts to increase all opportunity for illegal immigrants to flood across the country in the most blatant display of Democratic motives.

Dems defending the ability for illegal aliens to commit felonies and not fear consequences

Biden really made matters worst for himself when he was in an interview with Vice where he baffled the hosts who couldn’t believe what he said.

In this interview, Biden threatened to fire any ICE agents who arrested any illegal immigrant. In Democrat format, he painted the picture of poor young children fearing for their security because mom could be arrested outside the school at any time or at a doctor’s office. This was in January 2020. This immigration issue has been a long-time brewing and steeping in the Rio Grande.

He practically invited illegal immigration the moment he stepped into office with one of the hundreds of executive orders he enacted which stifled Border patrols ability to do their job. The consequences of this statement were simple. Illegal immigrants didn’t have to fear about committing any crimes, since Biden said that he would fire any ICE agents who even dared arrest someone for deportation.

What Biden has caused

After Biden’s ridiculous statement in January 2020, the country had been flooded with illegal immigration once he took office. Illegal aliens could rest assured that they wouldn’t face any serious legal action if they were to, say, drink and drive. Or any other crime for that matter.

CBS Colorado reported that an illegal alien named Jose Menjivar, who is alleged to have killed two U.S. citizens when he got behind the wheel drunk and ran his car into another vehicle, killing a mother and her 16-year-old son. Menjivar has a long-standing history in the United States of DUI.

What was left out of this news report was that he is an illegal alien who has been deported four times. In June 2009, June 2013, November 2014 and January 2015. He was arrested multiple times after his last deportation for DUI on December 7, 2016, and May 7, 2019.

After prosecutors wanted to put him in prison for a year, the judge, Zak Malkinson, released him.

It was only four days after a hearing for a similar offense of drinking and driving that Menjivar did it again and claimed the lives of two people. And still, he gets to walk free and will likely not face deportation.

There are other situations like this where an illegal alien commits a crime and gets released without any serious consequence, the minimal of which would be deportation. Such names would be Manuel Orrego-Savala who killed NFL linebacker Edwin Jackson and his ride-share driver. Ernesto Lopez Morales, who plowed into another vehicle, killing a 5-year-old girl. He ended up fleeing the scene as well. His bond was set at $22,500 and wasn’t immediately deported or confined.

Dems want anarchy, ironically

In this presidency, more than ever, the Democrats have shown that they truly do not care for the American citizen. Folks who received guided tours around the capitol building by capitol police received sentences over a decade long, but criminals who are in this country illegally, continue to commit crimes, kill people because of their actions, are allowed to post bail and go about their lives. As if they only killed a traffic sign or mailbox.

So long as the Dems can hold on to power, they will do anything to reach that goal. So they flood the country with illegal aliens to create a voter base. They know that they are deep in the hole when it comes to the polls. And that is why Biden has been so strict, not on the illegal immigrants, but his federal agencies whose job it is to enforce the laws. Who are told in the same breath that they will be fired if they arrest illegal immigrants for deportation. Because they are messing up his plan.

Federal agents who are ordered to tear down barricades to allow mass illegal immigration the likes of which this country has never seen before. For a long while, it had been ok for the democrats, since the problem was primarily affecting Republican states. And in a clever move, Abbot started shipping illegals to Democrat states who had been chanting and champing at the bit anytime a Republican would say that the border situation is an issue. Citing that this is what Republican racism looks like and how much immigration is what makes America great and who we are as a nation.

But when those democrat run states starting feeling the heat, they quickly wanted out of the kitchen. Calling on the Biden administration to do something. Keep in mind that there was effectively anarchy for a year when riots ravaged major cities across the nation while democrat leaders were chanting and cheering them on.

For those that are still thinking Biden is doing a good job, put down the drugs that have been decriminalized and wake up. Touch grass. Become aware. Read. Educate. Observe. Realize that this is a pattern. It is still baffling that Biden has some 35% job approval right now. After so much has gone wrong. The economy, broken. Foreign policy, in tatters. And apparently the rule of law, which gets applied the most towards people who just might be republican or conservative. Because at the end of it all, those will be the only enemies that democrats will recognize.
