After President Trump faced massive scrutiny for retaining classified documents in his Mar-a-Lago home, it would appear President Biden is facing the same music.
Biden and Trump. Two figures who are the exact opposites of one another. I doubt that anyone is a stranger to the idea of what lengths the leftist media will go to in order to protect their liberal overlords. So it will come as no shock to anyone that they had gone full steam ahead when news broke out about Biden’s lawyers finding classified information in Biden’s post-vice presidential office.
In good fashion, there is a committee forming in order to investigate exactly why these documents were in there to begin with. Which wouldn’t even be half of what Trump had and still has to face for his run in with classified information. But more on that later.
An article from CNN reports, “Republican’s are already making sure of that, belatedly voicing concern over secret Material discovered outside the White House – after energetically dismissing ex-President Donald Trump’s far greater transgressions.” What transgressions?
There are many more articles out there that are saying the big thing wrong here is that Trump was mean and rude and was not just bending over to the powers that be. Bad man. Notice how they include the numbers. Makes it all big and scary.
The president does indeed possess the power to declassify information at will. However, I do agree that it should have been done much sooner, but who knows what sort of tactic/plan Trump had for the documents. Sifting through and choosing which ones to declassify? Just speculation, really, so don’t take it as a point.

It is important to note that there are some blinding differences between Biden and Trump’s cases. On Trump’s side, He was the outgoing president. Gathered and retained documents in his presidency. When the so called “Hyper sensitive” information was published, 98% of what the documents were (titles/overall summarized contents) were redacted. Biden on the other hand gathered these documents 7 years ago and just stuffed them in a locked closet. “Oh, so they were locked away, so that’s fine.” Well, not particularly because they were discovered by one of Biden’s random lawyers who had access to the closet. Trump on the other hand had documents locked in Mar-a-Lago where they had to be discovered by an FBI raid. Because he wasn’t entertaining the leftist subpoenas and harassment. The FBI went so far as to open a safe. You know, those heavy locked boxes that are famous for being hard to get into. Yeah, they had to open in. The shady dealing of the FBI revolving around the raid is striking. Anonymous tips about the documents, the FBI not showing Trump’s lawyers the warrant. All of it. But I digress.
What is this truly about? Very simple. Biden good, Trump bad. Biden can do no wrong, Trump all bad.
My ultimate take on Biden retaining classified documents while he was vice president is simple. Vice President’s can’t very well just declassify anything they want. Trump was president during the time. Biden was only VP.
Oh, did I mention the fact that the documents were actually discovered shortly before the midterm elections? Yeah, just another one of those darn so much going on in the news moments, so we can’t give you more information. However, ultimately, the legal powers of the VP to declassify documents is very unclear. Yet in a 2003 executive order, Vice Presidents are able o classify sensitive material but are only able to declassify materials they classified. It is unclear if this applies to documents from intelligence agencies.
The documents in question from Biden are reportedly U.S. Intelligence on Iran, United Kingdom, and Ukraine. Yep. Ukraine. Coincidence? I don’t really think so. With the larger public finally able to acknowledge the fact that Hunter Biden has been doing dastardly things with foreign nations, most notably Ukraine, it all sort of paints a funny picture.
No Joy. In fact, it is arguable that what Biden did…7 years ago… while just being the VP…with the information also being about Ukraine… is a lot a bit worse. Watching them say that these two situations are different when they are the same but in my opinion one is a bit worse is hilarious.
Their only arguments for why Trump was so terrible are based off of false accusations of racism and how he is mean on Twitter. There is nothing else that they ever mention, except for how he behaves and makes the sensitive cockles of their hearts feel. That’s why in their eyes, Trump did the second-worst thing ever aside from “inciting an insurrection.”
