Elon Musk’s take-over of Twitter will only prove what everyone already knew.
Elon Musk, owner of Twitter as of October 27, 2022, released the Twitter files, which revealed the truth behind what Twitter and likely all the major social media platforms have been doing for quite some time now. The Twitter files are a collection of emails that provide incredible detail about what role Twitter had in removing the Hunter Biden Laptop story from its platform at the behest of certain political entities.
Above is an example of the kinds of emails contained within the files. The Biden administration was in contact with Twitter to silence people. Matt Taibbi is shown in this Twitter thread summarizing the files. Twitter fulfilled both Trump and Biden party requests in 2020.
What is more damning to Twitter are their lengths to stop the spread of the Hunter Biden Laptop story. Taibbi wrote, “Twitter took extraordinary steps to suppress the story, removing links and posting warnings that it may be ‘unsafe.’ They even blocked its transmission via direct message, a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, child pornography”.
Opinion
I believe that Twitter only heeded the requests of Trump’s campaign party to cover themselves if accused of being partisan. After all, journalism has never been without bias.
After the election, MRC surveyed 1,750 Biden voters in 7 swing states. The categories and results are as shown.
The graphic shows in Blue things about Biden and Red about Trump’s campaign. In four out of five categories, nearly 50% of those people needed to be made aware of the accomplishments the Trump administration achieved. What is more concerning is the relatively low percentage of people who were unaware of the Biden scandals and still would vote for him. The poll clearly shows that the Biden voters were ignorant of all the good policies that Trump managed to enact that improved life for millions of Americans.
If more Biden voters in the swing states were aware of what Trump was doing, Trump would likely have won the second term. Putin also probably would have stayed in the yard. We also wouldn’t be paying so much for gasoline.
